Electricity restored to another 20 settlements: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues restoration of the grids

On March 27, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to residents of 20 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 16,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, repaired a number of grids damages and restored power to 20 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 16,280 local residents. 

Shelling is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the National Police, 12 settlements of the region were under fire yesterday. 

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy system of the region. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 764 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
