Electricity restored to 4 more settlements: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues repairs after shelling

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews restored power to more than 26,000 families in 4 frontline settlements of the region. Despite constant enemy attacks, specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the Donetsk region once it becomes possible and the military provides permission for work performance.

On August 16, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists restored power to 4 settlements of the region, thus restoring electricity to 26,340 families of the region. 

Shelling of the Donetsk region is ongoing. Air, missile, drone and artillery strikes continue. Hostilities constantly damage grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,271 days in a row and repairing equipment and lines immediately once it becomes possible.
