Electricity restored to another 4,800 families: DTEK Donetsk Grids repaired a number of grids damages after shelling

On September 21 and 22, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored power to 10 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of 4,819 families. 

Hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Donetsk RMA, shelling of settlements of the region continues. In particular, Avdiivka suffered an air strike and shelling from artillery and tanks. The hottest spot is Vuhledar, which was hit 21 times from artillery and suffered two air strikes yesterday. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 112 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 577 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. About 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
