Electricity restored to more 5 settlements: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues restoration of grids

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of military, repaired a number of grids damages and restored power to 5 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 3,846 families. 

Shelling in the Donetsk region continues. According to the National Police, 11 settlements of the region were under fire yesterday. 

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy system of the region. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 743 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
