Electricity has been restored to almost 6,000 families: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues repairs of grids after shelling

On August 30, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to access a number of grids damages, caused by hostilities, and repair it, thus restoring electricity to 2 settlements. Power supply has been restored to homes of almost 6,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for works performance.

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to 2 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power supply to 5,838 families.

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 113 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 554 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. About 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
