Electricity restored to 63,000 families: DTEK energy workers energized all consumers after morning shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region

DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists have completely restored electricity in the Nikopol district after morning enemy attack. Restoration activities resulted in restoration of power supply to all consumers that were left without electricity.

The enemy attack in the morning of September 6 have completely or partially de-energized 7 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region, including the cities of Nikopol and Marhanets, leaving nearly 63,000 families without electricity. 

Once the security situation allowed, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews commenced restoration of power supply in the affected districts. 12 crews of specialists were engaged in the works. First, they energized all critical facilities. And by 15:00, electricity has been restored to all homes of residents that were de-energized.  

The aggressor continues shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region that causes damage to power facilities and leaves residents without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. Energy workers commence repairs immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES.
