Electricity restored to 71,500 families: DTEK energy workers energized all consumers after yesterday’s shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region
In the morning of December 20, the enemy shelling completely de-energized 17 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region and partially de-energized 2 more. Including the towns of Nikopol and Marhanets. More than 68,000 families were left without electricity.
On the same day, the enemy drone attacked one of the DTEK Dnipro Grids power facilities. Energy workers were not hurt.
Once the security situation allowed, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews commenced restoration of power supply in the affected districts. First, they energized all critical facilities. And by the end of the day, electricity has been restored to 71,500 homes of de-energized residents.
The aggressor continues shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging power facilities and leaving residents without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. Energy workers commence repairs immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES.
