Electricity restored to more than 23,000 families in the Donetsk region: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues restorations
On May 12, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored electricity to one settlement, thus restoring power to 23,628 families in the frontline Donetsk region.
Active hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. Shelling, missile and air attacks continue.
Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 115 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 444 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
