Electricity has been restored to more than 25,000 families in the Donetsk region: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues to repair the grids

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 16 settlements, affected by constant shelling of the region, thus restoring electricity to more than 25,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore power to the Donetsk region once it becomes possible.

On September 18 through 19, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored electricity to 16 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to 25,176 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the Donetsk RMA, constant shelling of the region continues. Vuhledar alone was hit 34 times from artillery and aviation yesterday. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 112 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 574 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. About 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
