DTEK Dnipro Grids is a reliable partner of the society. That is why, after enemy shelling of the infrastructure facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia in May-June of this year and, consequently, destabilization of the railroad operation, energy workers volunteered to help railwaymen restore operation of electrical equipment.

DTEK Dnipro Grids Operational Dispatch Center specialists and high voltage grids specialists were working in the Kyiv region. Together with railwaymen, they restored operation of the substation that powers the town and technological networks of the railroad, thus allowing to promptly resume traffic of electric trains at the section Sviatoshyno-Teteriv of the South Western Railway, and to fully restore power to the town’s critical infrastructure facilities. For their high professionalism and effective help, 17 specialists received awards and gratitude from the railwaymen.

“DTEK understands the importance of railway facilities restoration for the entire country. Our employees have high potential for performance of super complex tasks. We are ready to further help Ukraine to ensure that trains run again and electricity is restored to towns that suffered from occupation”, – told DTEK Dnipro Grids representative.

Let us recall that in April-May emergency crews of energy workers from the Dnipropetrovsk region also took part in restoration of the grids in Kherson and Kyiv regions that were destroyed due to hostilities. Earlier, DTEK Dnipro Grids has provided electricity to six large substations of Mykolaivoblenergo JSC that were de-energized due to shelling.

All this time, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers continue to ensure stable operation of electrical infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region, despite the threat of air assaults or potential shelling. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, energy workers have restored power to more than 40,000 homes, affected by hostilities.
