DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to more than 30,000 families over the course of a week

From February 27 to March 5, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to restore power to residents of 38 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 30,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible. Overall, since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company have restored power to more than 4.1 mln families* in the Donetsk region.

Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 38 settlements, thus restoring access to electricity for 31,974 families.

In particular, yesterday energy workers have restored electricity to 1,700 families.

Active hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to concentrate main efforts on conducting an offensive in Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions.

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Therefore, 106 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 376 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
