DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids talked about peculiarities of dual-zone meter readings submission via Viber and Telegram chatbot

The time has come to submit meter readings. DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids has a convenient service for that – Viber and Telegram chatbot. Its main advantage is round-the-clock service that does not require visiting company’s office. DTEK draws customers attention to the peculiarities that should be considered during submission of dual-zone meter readings – indicating data in the “day” and “night” zones separately.

DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids recommends all household customers to use Viber and Telegram chatbot to submit meter readings in a matter of minutes. For the billing to represent actual data and not the estimated one, readings should be submitted during the last 2 days of the current month and the first 3 days of the next one.

If the customer has a two-zone meter installed, chatbot shall offer him to submit readings in turn for the “day” and “night” zone. Depending on the type of meter, they may be identified on the screen by different indexes. “Day” – 1.8.2, 15.8.2, A2 or Т2. “Night” – 1.8.1., 1.8.3., 15.8.1., Т1 or T3, A1.

“Despite the war, DTEK continues to develop modern online services and created a convenient Viber and Telegram chatbot for quick submission of electricity readings. Today, almost 471,000 customers in the region are using it. Besides meter readings, it can also help find out about possible outages,” – tells the company.

In order to start using chatbot, please:

  • enter “DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids” in the search bar or follow the direct Viber or Telegram link;
  • follow menu prompts to submit meter readings;
  • A step-by-step video guide on how to use a chatbot is available via the link

Important. DTEK recommends residents of the Kyiv region to submit meter readings every month using remote services. Even if the customer had to temporarily leave his home and, correspondingly, is not using electricity – it is mandatory to duplicate previous readings. Timely submitted information about electricity consumed helps calculate exact volumes of electricity consumption for the calendar month, while allowing the provider company to generate bills for consumed electricity.
