NPC Ukrenergo and DTEK Odesa Grids urge residents of the Odesa region to limit electricity consumption

Due to significant destructions of the energy infrastructure, NPC Ukrenergo has implemented stabilization power cutoffs in various regions of the country. Introduction of power cutoff schedules in the Odesa region is also possible. In order to prevent high-volume emergency outages, NPC Ukrenergo and DTEK Odesa Grids urge residents of the Odesa region to limit electricity consumption from 17:00 to 23:00 and in the morning from 6:00 to 11:00.

As of 15:00 October 21, the situation in the energy industry of Ukraine remains difficult. In order to stabilize the energy system, NPC Ukrenergo has to introduce stabilization power cutoffs in various regions of the country. Schedules of stabilization power cutoff have not yet been applied in the Odesa region, but possibility of its introduction remains high.

In case of a command from NPC Ukrenergo to apply stabilization power cutoff in Odesa and Odesa region, DTEK Odesa Grids will notify about it via its official resources – website, social networks and will publish a schedule of cutoffs.

In order to reduce the load on the energy system and, thus, help energy workers stabilize the energy system while elimination of consequences of the energy infrastructure destruction is ongoing, DTEK Odesa Grids urges all customers to minimize electricity consumption – not to switch on energy-consuming devices and reduce electricity consumption as much as possible in the morning from 6:00 to 11:00 and in the evening from 17:00 to 23:00. Business customers are asked to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls, etc.

These simple steps will help reduce the need for power cutoffs and a number of disconnected consumers. This is now the best support of energy workers, who are working 24/7 and are doing everything possible to ensure that everyone has electricity at home.

Take care of yourself and your family!

We believe in Victory!
