Electricity restored to Nikopol district: DTEK energy workers have restored power to more than 1,000 families after shelling

DTEK Dnipro Grids has restored power supply in the Nikopol district that was shelled yesterday. On August 30, emergency and restoration crews have restored electricity to 1,250 families that were without power supply due to damaged grids. Our specialists commence work immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Enemy attacks on the border districts remains intense in the Dnipropetrovsk region, frequently causing damage to the grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity. Despite daily shelling, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews promptly repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy.

Yesterday, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of the grids for 1,250 families in Nikopol district, shelled by the enemy once again. Emergency crews have performed grids infrastructure restoration activities, once they obtained a permit for repairs from the AFU and SES.

About 50 families in Nikopol district remain without electricity. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. Work will be carried out immediately after our specialist get a permit from the military.
