Over the course of the week, DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to almost 800 settlements, de-energized by the attacks
The majority – in the frontline Donetsk region. Over the course of the week, energy workers here managed to restore electricity to almost 500,000 homes of the region’s residents. The region remains the nucleus of extremely heavy fighting. Despite constant danger, energy workers continue to work and restore power supply.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, despite constant attacks as well, energy workers were able to conduct a number of grid repairs and restore electricity to more than 307,000 homes over the same period.
The enemy does not stop attacking the capital, too. From October 19 to 25, energy workers managed to restore power supply to 245,500 families in Kyiv.
Over the course of the week, energy workers in the Odesa region, in their turn, managed to restore power supply to almost 113,000 families, whose homes were de-energized due to constant enemy attacks on the region.
Energy workers in the Kyiv region managed to restore power supply to more than 112,000 families of local residents over the course of the week.
“The enemy continues to attack our country. Despite danger and attacks, we continue to work just the same. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 61.9 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.
Energy workers of DTEK Grids DSO are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as quickly as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from AFU and SES.
