Submitting meter readings via DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids user account is fast and convenient

Beginning of the month is the time to submit meter readings. DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids offers a convenient service to its customers — a household customer user account. This application can be used to submit meter readings in a matter of minutes and to track volume of consumed electricity. Remote service channel eliminates the need to visit offices of the company, which is convenient and safe, especially during martial law.

“DTEK hears and understands customer needs. We recommend residents of the Kyiv region to submit meter readings every month, including during the martial law. Even if the customer had to temporarily leave his home and, correspondingly, is not using electricity – it is mandatory to duplicate preliminary readings. It will help avoid difference between calculated and actually consumed volume of electricity, while supplier will be able to provide correct billing,” – explained the company.

To start using the account:

  • go to the User account section on the website. Please note that from 02 to 05 day of the month user page is working in the received readings and data processing mode, while registration of new customers is carried out on all other days.
  • fill all fields, required for registration. Please note that registration requires indicating private account and EIC code. Private accounts of the Distribution System Operator start with “2”. EIC code has 16 symbols (letters and numbers). It can be found in the distribution or supply agreements, or in the electricity bill;

After registration, customers receive a confirmation email. They should follow the link in the message to activate an account.

Let us recall that there are several remote tools for meter readings submission available in DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids 24/7. In particular, Viber and Telegram chatbot, special form at the website, telephone connection and “Merezhi online” mobile application (available in AppStore and Google Play Market) are being actively used by the company’s customers.

If the customer has a day/night meter, then the readings should be reported separately for day and night. On the meter display, the data is displayed sequentially: the amount of electricity used as a whole and then for the day and night, date, operating time of the device, etc. To take readings, please, wait for the necessary information to appear on the display or press enter to switch data until the needed information appears. The zone display has different indexes for different types of meters. DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids customers have the following ones:

  • For a GAMA type meter, the day zone on the display will be displayed with the 1.5.8.2 index, and the night zone - 1.5.8.1;
  • NiK brand device: day - 1.8.2 or 1.5.8.2, night - 1.8.3 or 1.5.8.1;
  • If you have an NP or MTX meter, then the day zone is A2 or 1.8.2, and the night zone is A1 or 1.8.3;
