DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists have restored power to residents of the region after the russians’ missile strike that took place in the morning of August 22. Electricity has been restored to homes of 50,500 families. DTEK emergency crews repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from missile strikes and enemy artillery shelling that, among other things, destroy electrical infrastructure of towns and villages.

At the dawn of August 22, russian invaders launched a missile attack on one of the large cities of the region, damaging private houses and breaking a high-voltage power line, thus leaving 50,500 families without electricity.

DTEK emergency crews commenced repairs immediately after obtaining permission from the SES and the military. As of 6:15, they managed to energize homes of about 31,000 families. While during the next two hours, they have restored electricity to other de-energized homes via the backup power circuits.

So far, everyone is energized via the backup lines. Energy workers are restoring the damaged power line. After that, residents of the affected districts will be reconnected to the main power circuit.

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews are doing everything possible to repair damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
