Emergency shutdowns continue to take place in Kyiv: electricity will be supplied to all residents alternately until the situation is stabilized

Thermal power generation26 November 2022
The situation in the energy system remains extremely difficult, therefore emergency power cutoffs continue to take place throughout the country, including the city of Kyiv.

We understand that prolonged absence of electricity complicates life of Kyiv residents. Therefore, starting from November 26, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids will alternately supply electricity to all residents so that the break in electricity supply for each customer does not excess 5 hours. Stabilization schedules are currently not valid. This mode will be valid until it becomes possible to reduce shortage of electricity generation and stabilize the situation in the energy system.

If electricity has not been restored to your house during the period from after rf’s attack on November 23 until today, November 26, or if electricity will be absent after November 26 for more than 5 hours, please inform DTEK Kyiv Grids via online channels: Telegram or Viber chatbot and our Facebook page.

Energy workers from throughout the country are working 24/7, doing everything possible to restore electricity to people as soon as possible. After restoration of electricity, please do not switch on all electrical appliances at the same time, as it can lead to a new emergency in your district or building due to abrupt simultaneous connection of high load.
