For one day (February 8), Ukrenergo will cancel limitations of electricity consumption in the Donetsk region

Thermal power generation07 February 2023
On February 8, NPC Ukrenergo will conduct measurements of electricity consumption in the Donetsk region in order to determine actual electricity consumption indicators. These indicators are needed to determine correct limits during application of schedules. To do that, all limitations of electricity consumption will be cancelled for one day – from 00:00 to 24:00 in order to determine the real electricity demand in the region.

Electricity consumption limits for the region will be adjusted based on these data.

In accordance with the “Ukrenergo” dispatcher’s instruction, there will be no stabilization or emergency shutdowns in the region during the test day.

A significant power shortage remains in the energy system of Ukraine after russia’s terrorist attacks. In order to determine electricity consumption limits for each region in accordance with the real demand, NPC Ukrenergo will carry out control measurements in the regions.

If you experience a power outage on February 8, it may be caused by an emergency in the grids or by consequences of an enemy shelling.

Please inform us about it via convenient remote services. The fastest way is to send us a private message on the DTEK Donetsk Grids Facebook page. Another way is to file an application in the section “No electricity?” on the company’s website. You can also file an application via a call center +38 (093/096/099) 450 0 473, though it may take more time due to a large number of calls.

Energy workers are working 24/7 and doing everything possible to provide electricity to every home. Only together and with joint efforts will we be able to endure and overcome these dark times!
