:00, bad weather and gusty wind have caused shutdowns and breaks of 30 lines and 706 transformer substations (TS). Most of the outages occurred in Baryshivka, Boryspil, Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi and Kyiv-Sviatoshyn energy centers. 25 settlements were left completely without electricity and 33 — partially.

Energy workers are doing their best to restore electricity to customers’ homes. DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids engaged 58 crews to eliminate consequences of the storm.

DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids reminds of the following safety rules:

  • avoid staying near power lines during strong wind;
  • if you discover broken lines, please stay 8-12 meters away, never touch bare wire and inform the company immediately;
  • in case of blackouts, do not try to perform repair by yourself. If a blackout happened in an apartment or house – call an electrician, servicing your house. If there is a blackout at the entire street – contact DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids specialists.

Please use any convenient way to inform about any emergencies on the grids:

Call center’s lines may be overloaded during the storm, so the company asks customers to use online services.
