In the new academic year, energy students from Donbass State Engineering Academy Engineering College (Kramatorsk) and Donbass State College of Technology and Management (Toretsk) joined the project. Kramatorsk and Toretsk Universities joined the DTEK Donetsk Grids dual education project

Such a dual training system was introduced at DTEK Donetsk Grids last year. The program was developed together with universities that produce specialists in the electric power and electrical engineering areas, namely Priazovskyi State Technical University and Donbass State Machine-Building Academy. In the 2019/2020 academic year, 10 students began to study at the company. This academic year, the number of universities has been expanded. As well as the number of students who had a chance to participate in the program.

DTEK is a socially responsible and reliable company, we care about the future of Ukraine and support talented youth. We give students the opportunity to start their first work while being at the university. Since this academic year, we have 18 students studying at a time. This is a great opportunity to get a start in the profession", - says Oleksii Degtyarev, DTEK Donetsk Grids Director General.

A week at the enterprise, a week at your university. This system is used for training dual students. Participation implies official employment, salary, work clothing, and health insurance. Experienced expert mentors help young professionals to adapt. After successful completion of the training, university graduates can continue to work in the company if there are vacancies, recommendations of mentors and their immediate supervisors.

The company cooperates with five universities, such as Priazovsky State Technical University (Mariupol), Donbass State College of Technology and Management (Toretsk), Donbass State Engineering Academy Engineering College (Kramatorsk), Donbass State Engineering Academy (Kramatorsk), and Donetsk National Technical University (Pokrovsk).
