Over the course of two days, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored electricity to 150 settlements, de-energized by the enemy
DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists continue restoring power supply after new russian strikes. Over the past two days, energy workers managed to restore electricity for 48,078 families in 150 towns and villages of the region that were left without voltage due to the attacks.
In particular, emergency and restoration crews completed restoration of electricity to 130 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were almost completely de-energized the day before due to the enemy attack on power facilities.
Last night, enemy drones attacked another facility of the company. The strike set power equipment on fire. Fortunately, no employees were harmed. Emergency service units promptly arrived on site and extinguished the fire. Restoration activities are ongoing.
Over 20,000 homes in the region currently remain without electricity. Restoration activities in the frontline zone are complicated by the security situation. Nevertheless, energy workers are working to restore power supply to every home as soon as possible.
Emergency crews commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
