DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to more than 40,000 families in 25 settlements over the course of a week

Despite shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to restore power to residents of 25 settlements in the Donetsk region, affected by hostilities, thus restoring electricity to more than 40,000 families over the course of a week. Energy workers commence repairs once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities and winter cold.

From November 28 to December 4, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to 25 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring service to 40,248 families.

Moreover, yesterday energy workers have conducted repairs and restored electricity supply for more than 6,000 families in 20 settlements.

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Massive artillery shelling, missile strikes and air assaults continue. The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to focus his main efforts on the offensive in the directions of Bakhmut and Avdiivka.

96 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
