DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored power to the majority of shelled settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region, thus restoring electricity to 3,384 families in Nikopol district that were without power due to damaged grids.

On August 10 and 11, russian army has made a large-scale attack on Nikopol district. Enemy shelling damaged power lines and electrical equipment. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have promptly conducted activities to restore its operation as soon as they obtained a permit for repair from the military. Over the course of a day, they restored electricity to 3,384 homes of residents that were de-energized due to hostilities.

393 families in 2 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Electricity should be restored to them by the end of the day, with the permission of SES and the military.

Despite constant shelling, DTEK energy workers promptly repair lines and equipment damaged by the enemy. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, they have already restored power to more than 70,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The majority of restorations were in Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts that come under shelling most often. Work is conducted immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and State Emergency Service. Some settlements required repair of lines and equipment dozens of times since February 24.
