From August 10 to 16, energy workers of the DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators (DSO) were able to completely or partially restore power to 496 settlements, de-energized due to enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 900,000 families in Donetsk, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from AFU and SES.

The majority, for eight weeks in a row, is in the Donetsk region, where continuous heavy fighting is still ongoing and constant attacks cause non-stop destruction to both settlements and power facilities. Despite an extremely difficult security situation, energy workers here managed to restore power to 426,800* homes over the past seven days.

The next largest number of restorations is in Odesa region, attacks on which do not subside as well. From August 10 to 16, energy workers here managed to restore power to 259,300 homes of local residents.

Enemy attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region do not stop too. Last week, specialists managed to restore electricity to almost 190,000 homes of the region’s residents that were de-energized due to enemy attacks.

“Enemy attacks on the energy system do not subside. Nevertheless, we continue to work and restore electricity. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 51.6* mln families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

Energy workers of DTEK Grids DSO are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from AFU and SES.
