Massive shelling of the Donetsk region, as well as missile and air attacks continued in May, causing damage to the energy infrastructure on a daily basis. Despite all the difficulties, last month DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to homes of 361,444 families.

In particular, just last week, specialists of the energy company have restored electricity to 73,000 families in 55 settlements of the Donetsk region.

The situation with shelling in the Donetsk region remains very difficult. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to concentrate main efforts on attempts to completely occupy Donetsk and Luhansk regions, where 25 attacks have been repelled yesterday alone.

Due to constant shelling, 110 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 464 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
