Electricians were on their way to carry out restoration of power supply in the frontline town. While driving, the repair crew heard the sound of an enemy FPV drone, managed to quickly leave the vehicle and hide in the shelter. Thus, energy workers remained unharmed.

The direct drone hit caused major damage to the cabin of the truck-mounted aerial platform: broken doors, smashed windshield, deformed body. Some equipment and a crane-manipulator have also been affected. The machinery received serious damage and currently cannot continue operation.

This is not the first russian attack on the energy workers’ vehicles. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, there were 264 attacks on DTEK Dnipro Grids facilities.

Despite the threats, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews work every day, restoring power supply to the residents of the frontline territories. Specialists begin work immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
