From August 4 to 10, energy workers of DTEK Grids DSO, with the permission of the military, conducted a number of energy equipment repairs after the attacks that continuously target Ukrainian towns and villages, thus restoring power to 216 settlements in three regions. Electricity has been restored to the homes of almost 150,000 families. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

Last week, energy workers continued to eliminate the consequences of enemy strikes. The majority – in the Donetsk region, which continues to remain an area of active hostilities. Despite constant danger, from August 4 to 10, power was restored to the homes of 90,500 families here.

Shelling of the Dnipropetrovsk region did not subside last week too. Over the course of the week, our specialists managed to restore electricity to 58,400 homes here.

Energy workers in the Odesa region, in their turn, restored power to more than 200 homes after enemy attacks. Energy workers restored electricity as soon as it was possible once the deminers and the military allowed.

“The enemy continues to attack our country. While we continue to work despite danger and attacks for as long as 1,265 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 20.7 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.
