DTEK Dnipro Grids has recommended the most convenient online services for submission of meter readings. Each service is available 24/7, is simple and user-friendly. These services include Viber and Telegram chatbot, as well as other remote channels. Timely submitted data will help customers avoid differences in billing and receive bills only for the actually consumed electricity.
Without leaving home: how residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region can submit meter readings

For the electricity billing to represent actual data and not the estimated one, it is better to submit readings during the period from last 2 days of the current month to the 3rd day of the next one. It will help Distribution System Operator define accurate volumes of consumption for the calendar month, while the supplier company will be able to provide billing for the consumed electricity.

“Despite the war, DTEK continues to develop modern online services and created convenient and easy-accessible remote channels for quick submission of electricity readings. One of the most convenient is Viber and Telegram chatbot. As of today, over 42,000 customers in the Dnipropetrovsk region are already actively using it. The service functions 24/7. It is really easy and convenient, as it takes a matter of minutes and is available from any smartphone or other gadget,” – the company explains.

In order to start using a chatbot, please:

  • enter “DTEK Dnipro Grids” in the search bar of Viber or Telegram messenger or follow the direct Viber or Telegram link;
  • pass verification procedure (for unregistered customers);
  • select “submit meter readings” in the menu and follow menu prompts to submit information;

Caring for the customers, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists prepared a step-by-step video guide of how to use a chatbot for readings submission. It is available via the link

There are also other convenient ways to submit readings:

  • via the web form on the website that does not require additional registration. Select district, enter personal account number, number of zones on your meter and readings per zone
  • user account on the DTEK Dnipro Grids website;
  • voice menu for automatic submission of readings. Call (056) 790-99-00, (066/067/063) 790-99-00 and press “2”. Then, follow instructions for successful registration of readings;

Important. If the customer failed to timely submit data, then he is billed based on the forecasted (average daily) consumption volume rather than an actual one. The customer can submit readings during the billing period next month and Distribution System Operator will perform adjustments based on the volume of actually consumed electricity.
