Over the course of two days, DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers restored electricity to 32,800 families after enemy attacks
The enemy continues to attack energy infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing new power outages.
Over the past two days, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 32,822 families in 24 towns and villages of the region that were left without electricity due to russian attacks.
In particular, specialists promptly restored electricity to 13 settlements that were almost completely de-energized after yesterday’s attack on one of the power facilities in the frontline district.
The very same power facility was attacked by the enemy again last night. The drone strike caused damage to equipment and started a fire. Fortunately, personnel was not harmed. During the inspection, another undetonated fpv drone was discovered on site. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists, together with the SES and the military, carry out restoration activities while complying with all required safety measures.
More than 23,000 homes in the region currently remain without power supply. Work in the frontline districts is complicated by the security situation. Nevertheless, energy workers continue to work and are doing everything possible to restore electricity to every home as soon as possible. Emergency crews commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service.
