DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to more than 400,000 homes in the capital and in two regions over the course of the week

From June 15 to 21, energy workers of the DTEK Grids Distribution Systems Operators (DSO) were able to completely or partially restore power to the residents of 530 settlements, de-energized by enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to more than 400,000 families* in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk regions and in the capital. Specialists of DTEK Grids DSO repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from AFU and SES.

The majority – in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where specialists were able to restore power to 150,600 homes last week. The enemy continues to attack Dnipropetrovsk region, thus regularly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity.

Energy workers in the capital, in their turn, managed to restore power to homes of more than 140,000 families of local residents after June 15th massive enemy attack.

On June 15-21, despite an extremely difficult situation, energy workers in the Donetsk region managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore electricity to 111,500* homes.

“The enemy continues to attack our energy system. Despite large-scale destruction, security challenges and fatigue, we continue to work and restore electricity supply. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 46.3 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. We have restored electricity in some settlements close to the combat zone on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

Energy workers of DTEK Grids DSO are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from AFU and SES.
