DTEK Donetsk Grids continues to bring back light: power has been restored to homes of more than 44,000 families over the course of three days

Over the past three days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to conduct a number of repairs and restore power to 37 settlements, affected by hostilities, thus restoring electricity to more than 44,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to promptly restore power supply after shelling in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

On May 1, 2 and 3, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 37 settlements, thus restoring power to homes of 44,434 families in the Donetsk region. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains very difficult. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to concentrate main efforts on the offensive in the directions of Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka, where over 65 enemy attacks have been repelled over the course of a day. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 105 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 435 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
