DTEK restored electricity to more than 800 families in the Odessa region, who were left without it due to yesterday missile strikes

DTEK Odessa Grids restored power to 801 families in the Odessa region. Homes of region’s residents were left without electricity due to enemy missile strikes in the morning of July 26. DTEK Odessa Grids emergency and restoration crews began repairing damaged grids immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU. Over the course of 24 hours, electricians managed to restore power to most of the customers. 19 houses remain without electricity. Energy workers are putting their maximum effort to restore power to all residents of the region as soon as possible.

Missile strikes caused damage to power lines and electrical equipment in one of the settlements of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the Odessa region, leaving 820 families without electricity. Energy workers started repairing grids immediately after obtaining a permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and thanks to their prompt and coordinated work on July 26 electricity was restored to 801 families. Energy workers are putting maximum effort to promptly repair damaged grids and restore electricity to all residents of the region, who were left without it due to missile strikes.

Emergency and restoration crews continue to work 24/7 in order to promptly restore electricity to the homes of customers after emergencies, including due to shelling. The company cooperates with the Territorial Defense Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to access the sites of damage. Additionally, employees have specific guidelines related to working in emergencies and are provided with everything needed to restore operation of equipment in case of hostilities upon obtaining permits from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
