Large-scale attacks on power facilities of the Dnipropetrovsk region: emergency power shutdowns are in force in the region

Due to multiple enemy attacks on power facilities, the situation in the energy system of the Dnipropetrovsk region remains difficult. Emergency power shutdowns are currently in force in the region. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists and all energy workers of the region are working to repair damaged equipment and stabilize power supply.

Over the course of the day, the enemy attacked equipment of the transmission grids multiple times, thus causing outages in Dnipro and nearby settlements. Additionally, a reactive drone damaged equipment of one of the DTEK Dnipro Grids power facilities last night. No personnel were harmed.

Currently, all energy workers of the region are working to repair the damaged infrastructure. The main priority is to energize the critical infrastructure, particularly water supply facilities. In parallel, specialists are working to restore electricity to the homes of the region's residents.

Emergency power shutdowns are in force in the Dnipropetrovsk region by the order of NPC “Ukrenergo”. Schedules of stabilization shutdowns are temporarily inactive ‒ limitations are applied promptly to maintain the balance of the energy system.
