Over the course of a day, DTEK energy workers have restored power to more than 3,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region, left without electricity due to shelling

Energy workers have concentrated main efforts in the Nikopol district, where enemy shelling caused damage to power lines and electrical equipment. In particular, it damaged high-voltage lines that ensure power supply of entire settlements. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have promptly conducted restoration activities immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from the military.

Over the course of a day, energy workers managed to restore power to 17 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region, thus restoring electricity to 3,355 homes of residents that were de-energized due to hostilities.

1,355 families in 2 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Power should be restored to them by the end of the day, upon obtaining a work permit from SES and the military.

Despite frequent shelling, DTEK energy workers promptly repair lines and equipment damaged by the enemy. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, they have already restored power to more than 80,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The majority of restorations were in Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts that come under shelling most often. Some settlements required repair of lines and equipment dozens of times since February 24.
