From November 4 to 10, energy workers of the DTEK Grids DSO managed to completely or partially restore power to 93 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 154,000 families in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, damaged by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES.

Last week, enemy attacks on the energy infrastructure continued. Likewise, energy workers continued repairs of grids and equipment, damaged by shelling. In particular, from November 4 to 10, they managed to restore electricity to 125,900 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Nearly 90,000 of them – after an enemy attack on November 8, when 9 settlements were de-energized. Including the towns of Nikopol and Marhanets.

Donetsk region remains the region with the most active hostilities. Constant enemy artillery shelling, missile, drone and air strikes continue to destroy the energy system. Last week, energy workers managed to restore power to homes of 27,800 families. Restoring electricity in the Donetsk region becomes increasingly difficult due to high enemy activity. Nevertheless, energy workers continue to work despite all security challenges of the region, where active hostilities are ongoing.

Besides, DTEK Grids energy workers restored power to 195 homes in Odesa region that were de-energized due to enemy attacks.

“Despite all risks, energy workers continue to hold the energy front for 992 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 15.3 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
